Rebuke The Lies

Did you know that He rebukes sickness - specifically fever?
He walked straight in to her house and spoke the word for it to leave her
she got up with strength in her bones motivated to action 
and at sunset her house was filled for the Presence of His attraction 

Did you know that He rebukes weather -  specifically the wind?
He told the storm what to do so quickly did it rescind 
the sea threw a fit but He put it in its place 
displaying calm reflecting grace

Did you know He rebukes words - specifically lies?
You know what I’m talking about you know the groans and sighs 
from the untruths engineered to mislead and malign
produced with the purpose for us to cross the line
and die that’s what lies do they lead to death
the wages of sin from his native tongue there’s poison on his breath
but He rebukes lies - you know this based on need
apart from Him we’re all fooled but because of Him we’re free indeed
wanna practice with me? we can do it now
close your eyes I’ll show you how
think of a lie that’s plaguing your mind
spell it out and let it find 
it’s way out the door when you call on His Name 
say “Rebuke the lies” let there be no shame 
say it again family rebuke the lies
Hang on to that prayer now open your eyes.
