We’re here together every day
and it’s highly likely this is where we’ll stay
so while we’re here we could make the most of it
and figure out a few ways of how we could boast of it
because we’re gonna be logging a lot of hours here
so let’s lose frowns and add smiles every year
let’s secure sweetness for all of our ends
my idea? we could be friends
we could be more than workers in this place
more than employees taking up office space
more than managers, nurses, doctors and technicians
pastors plumbers or electricians
we could choose a more noble association
than the fact that we have the same vocation
more than the same way our work day spends
wanna have lunch? ’cause we could be friends
