Coffee! (the best drink ever)

At some point my taste buds had a change of mind
for most of my life they had been blind
it’s hard to imagine I would ever think
that I was less than enthusiastic for the world’s best drink
coffee – so smooth and undeniably rich
the world has made its choice and it will never switch
from the cross cultural beverage preferred far and wide
exported everywhere so many countries’ pride
I raise my cup with this caffeinated endeavor
here’s to coffee! the best drink ever!
