Jar of Rocks

I’m busy it’s true and I’m tempted to skip and miss
despite my harried schedule I’ve still got time for this
pulling out my hair to satisfy so many demands
doesn’t mean that I can’t squeeze this into my plans
a jar full of rocks still has room for more
the potential exists for other things that make sense to pour
like sand water and pebbles – they fit right in
there’s always room for this it’s not an if but when
