Choose Your Attitude

The greatest power I have all day is the power of choice
what where why when and how all bear witness to the voice
of my heart so it is important to note
that the weight of my choices isn’t equal not every choice will float
quite possibly the most important choice connected to demeanor and mood
is the moment by moment choice we make when we choose our attitude
captives of our circumstances? I sincerely doubt it
perception of a deeper reality and everything about it
will empower us to choose an attitude indestructible
though flames leap about it is not combustible
when we choose the attitude that reflects the glory inside
nothing can usurp or steal it it will always abide
