They wear friendship well like the truest of brothers
decades set them apart from all others
from their teens to their 70s they go ever on
neither miles nor time nor anything gone
can ever come between these two great men
time is just just a number an arbitrary spin
while the earth moves these two abide
in their Father’s arms safely by His side
happy to share space year after year
