One

Five days for seven classes to learn this and that
trained the same way wherever we were at
giving attention to the four
our teachers said were the core
but our core was left unaddressed
leaving us inwardly stressed
cause after all the success of getting it done
all we ever needed was the one
the one that cried out inside
the one that only we could provide
the one for which the world is in wait
the one which only we can create
