Back in Black

It doesn’t take a moment before I’m even out of bed
and in my mind I’m already in red
overdrawn by the weight of the crap left in my brain
unchecked unrecognized it would leave me insane
but my brothers who love me a bushel and a peck
help me recognize what’s going on so it’s all kept in check
and believe me it’s the truth when I say
that it’s not just one text at the start of the day
but an intentional effort to reach out again and again
show me the man who can alone can tame his sin
the power of evil is broken by the bonds of fellowship
brother to brother to brother we will stand and not trip
they’re praying for me now I know they’ve got my back
rolling out in confidence no more red I’m back in black
