Ultimately for Life

Is it good versus bad? truth versus lies?
right versus wrong? foolish versus wise?
to a certain extent it is but far greater it is not
ultimately it is Life versus Death but that’s not always what we’re taught
we’re taught that some things are really really bad
and if we do them then God will be mad
but from the beginning that’s not what God said
for His prohibitions protected man from being dead
but we chose death so God chose it too
sacrificing Himself was what He chose to do
and three days later He reversed death
resurrection brought Life so we all could have breath
it is good it is true it is right for Him to give
but ultimately He did it so you and I can live
