Good Investment

A unique chain of events put us together today
we weren’t even supposed to be but I think it’s better this way
wearing complimentary t shirts running errands and taking time to rest
any time invested with my little partner is not only good it’s the best
there’s a lot of other folks I could be helping there’s an awful lot that could be done
but from his end he’s completely relaxed because I’m the only one
who is what I am never taken for granted
I’m his daddy and days like this are strong foundations planted
just the the two of us united for good blessed to be together
me and my little boy – love him so much – truly ain’t nothing better
