Happiness Around Every Corner

There is happiness around every corner – at least there is for me
I’m not saying I don’t have bad days but as you can clearly see
I’ve got some clear advantages when it comes to my perspective
that give me plenty of fuel to maintain my optimistic directive
I’m down sometimes it’s true especially when I make mistakes
but not one to wallow in miserable failure I get up because I’ve got what it takes
I didn’t earn it it was a gift
and my response is a life long lift
back up to the One who first gave it to me
like I said around every corner I see
happiness – I’ve been seeing it for a while
I have more reasons than ever to keep walking with a smile
