Exhale Gratitude

I’m not done being thankful I hope to never be
I hope to never put limits on the gratitude that is the breath and life of me
breathe gratitude – man – I like the sound of that
there’s wisdom in expressing my thanks no matter where I’m at
inhale blessing exhale gratitude
entitlement selfishness and vain conceit are burned by such an attitude
my hard heart is softened when tempted by such attractions
they only exist in gratitude’s absence they’re not the thing they’re just the attraction
and with the healing flood of gratitude they are washed away
yielding contentment but not content to remain in just one day
