Blessed to Know Him (for Jeremy Tomlinson)

If it was just his talent that would be sufficient
skill and effort yielding fruit remarkably efficient
but that is just the beginning of this man loved by many
friends cry out support and admiration and enemies? well he doesn’t really have any
because his talent is only outdone by the way
he loves people and there isn’t a day
that he is not a blessing to whoever he is near
certainly his family and every person every year
is blessed to know him and share his fellowship
not one person is cheated if they have a relationship
with this great man with whom I share
common blood and a common name I’d claim him anywhere
the world is better because he’s in it
35 years of global improvement every day every hour right down to every minute
