In the Meantime

Friday night happened and Sunday’s on the way

but what do you do in the meantime what do you do today?

what do you do when all your hopes are dashed

against the rocks of reality where optimism is smashed

and the Man you placed all trust in is now dead

no good news no answers just confusing questions instead

locked in a low lit room feeling incomparably vexed

disappointment upon disappointment what could possibly come next?
