Three days in a row of non-stop fun

two more to go – I’ve only finished one
live spoken word just now on the stage 
some verses memorized some off the page
alternating with my sister for the hometown crowd
her return to the mic and I’m so proud
that I could be there and see her come vividly alive
through word expressed and I find that I’ve
been been blessed beyond by all this word
but it’s just Wednesday so this is a third
of all that’s gonna happen this week
tomorrow holds more opportunity to seek
seek out a student who can be the best
headed down to Murfreesboro for a science quest
taking my kids to see what they’ve created
I hope it goes well and they are celebrated 
but for now I’m swimming all in my head
