Step Out that Door (Hawkeye’s Pep Talk)

The past was the past but right now is the present
and what lies before you is pure opportunity
stay where you are and no one will judge you
but if you step out that door you’re one of us
if you step out that door you hold your head high
and release your cry of righteous energy
letting the bad guys know who you are now
you don’t belong to them anymore
your gifts aren’t for revenge
but instead to avenge
rescue and make right in a word save
the fierce beauty of your goodness will light the way
for others who are arriving at similar conclusions
your power their power our power is here
sound the cry what it’s for
make war like a hero when you step out that door
