Stay on Task

I say yes but I quickly think no
like it’s not really the direction I wanted to go
so I flounder procrastinate and put it off another date
hoping in the end that I’ll actually be too late
but someone calls me on it at

not a harsh word mind you but it did end my hesitation
so I got up got on got out and went
I did my doing and did not relent
so glad I have friends who are willing to ask
me to keep my word and stay on task
