Explosive Gratitude

Perspective is everything – how you take it in
the minute can be massive if you take it for a spin
when most folks are just taking their turn
they’re unimpressed but you could learn
that there is more much more at stake
and it really is authentic not a bit of it is fake
mostly children understand how this takes place
the simplest pleasures light up their face
so that happiness is around anywhere
around any corner you can hear them declare
their excitement for what has just been going on
the moment is short and it is quickly gone
because another one is coming in just a minute
their explosive gratitude is beautiful right there in it
it’s as if the moon so glorious in its view
was chosen just by God and hung there just for you
