Tenderness all Over the Place

The world is not always as tough as it may seem
we are much closer to being on the same team
and by my reckoning we are winning
and it’s not just the way we’re story spinning
our observations lead us to something worth knowing
from the morning commute to the light night going
I see tenderness poured out all over the place
a thousand little entry points that contribute to the flow of grace
frequently subtle so more often than not
you’ve got to be watching or you’ll be missing a lot
I promise you they’re there – they’re there every single day
the question is whether we’ll see them or will we walk on our own way
let’s help each other shall we? let’s get tenderness in view
