Celebrating Momma

One look at the stats page for my site
reveals a truth that yields great delight
concerning someone who always pays attention
it’s no surprise that I easily mention
my mother as she is a pretty big fan when I rhyme
I started these verses a while ago and she’s been around the whole time
the stats don’t lie but the story they tell is far from done
there’s really no way to quantify a mother’s love for her son
nor is there any way to do it the other way around
but attempting to love my momma is where I wanna be found
a model for patience wisdom and generosity
loving daddy loving us where she is is a great place to be
a sense of humor easy to talk to such a blessing to us all
today is her day – let’s celebrate her y’all!
